I guess the fact one really need to invest time in one mission and not just build the basics, run to the point where you´re sopposed to do stuff and run back was a plus on this mission.
ICARUS PAYDAY EXTRACTION FULL
It really was intense when it comes to the time investment, maybe 14h+?, the fact I really had to build a full base for the first time felt oddly good and made it less painful. Had to run the way from home base to the site 5 or 6 times but in the end I got back with 220 exotics. I leveled from 75 to 86 within this mission but I started over one time because it was to much to bare *laughing*.

Learned alot doing the mission but the rewards for the time invested doesnt seem worth it.įinished this one at at last.took my a looong time in doing it as solo player.

Could be fun with a group as a long build session. Not something I would recommend for solo play. This mission took a really long time to do. Damn I can only extract 100 exotixs so now i just logged out til i can get some friends to drop in so I can load up their dropships to get credit for all the exotics i mined. So mission complete and head back to the dropship to leave. I dont know if the mission requires you to fully mine the node or if that was optional but I fully mined it. So make sure you bring a few cans with you. The extractor requires biofuel cans to operate which is not stated of the unit. When you find it you have to run all the way back to base ( if solo) to switch out the radar for the extractor. It is much faster than the regular composter and you need the fuel to power the extractor.Īfter crafting you take the radar and run around the map trying to locate a exotic node. The electric composter on the other hand was nice. doesnt reduce cost of crafting or allow you to craft anything t4, Just a faster herb bench.
ICARUS PAYDAY EXTRACTION UPGRADE
The chemistry bench seemed like a complete waste of resources, it is the herb bench upgrade but my play style doesn't see this as worth getting. With all the cave exploring you do to gathering resources having the flashlight was a plus and the caves look really cool too. The Flashlight was one of the best things in the game. So after I spent so many hours crafting out the radar and extractor I went ahead and made alot of T4 stuff. The under water caves are pretty cool too. But I found alot of caves and marked a few that where really nice. Gathering the needed materials for T4 is no fun whatsoever. This mission took a long time to complete (still have finished it completely, will explain why.) Doing this mission solo was kinda crazy. I had hit up nearly all the mines in the forest area but there were probably a few more I could find, but is there enough gold for the mission completion? I spent all my time mining so there was no time to spend on any other food prep or gearing up so I wasnt game to try the arctic mines. So I am curious, has anyone managed to complete this? Has anyone managed it playing solo? When I have more time I would like to retry this to see if it is possible.
ICARUS PAYDAY EXTRACTION GENERATOR
(And a way to power it, but I had made the biofuel generator and some cable, and the biofuel generator with 3 cans ready to go)Īt that point I sighed and headed back to the drop ship to call it a day. I needed the Electric furnace which of course needed another 60 electronics so 120 gold ore. Hmmm how do I process that into Composite?īy this stage I had crafted 95 electronics to make stuff and had 15 left (radar needs 10) I scrounged more materials and made the Material Processor and crafted the Composite paste. I looked at the Radar and I had everything except the 12 composites. I crafted the Fabricator and the Extractor - okay I ran all over the map mining gold, copper, iron, titanium, etc but in the end the mission broke me, so I left with 32 exotics I had found along the way. I wanted to try this mission since I had recently unlocked Exotics to see what the hype was about expensive T4 items.
